The Most Effective Breakfast

Breakfast is the one meal that we all seem to skim by without taking apart of. Interestingly, this is also the most important meal of the day because it sets the tone and energy level for the rest of the day. Therefore, the importance of eating a balanced nutritious breakfast may be more important than we realize.

After experimenting with many different varieties of home breakfast options, I have possibly found the most effective home breakfast option ever. I will outline it below:

Bananas: Two:  200 calories

This food is very low in Saturated Fat, Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin C, Potassium and Manganese, and a very good source of Vitamin B6.

Honey: 1 tbsp: 64 calories

This food has complex 17.3 carbohydrates, 0g saturated fat and 1mg of sodium. This will give your natural energy that will sustain throughout the morning and afternoon without over-spiking your insulin.


Almond Butter: 2 tbsp: 202 calories.

This food contains 6.8g of carbohydrates, 1.5g of saturated fat and 5g of protein. This will give fuel to your brain and muscles with an added boost to support your blood sugar.

Combine this on a plate with your bananas split open to hold the honey and almond butter. For added flavor, you can add mint leaf or event a bit of cinnamon. This is a really great way to start the day! Enjoy my friends!
